Early Concepts and Milestones

EARLY CONCEPT
AOEN Concept Board
Our research models how power could be transmitted wirelessly from orbit and is currently under scientific review. Prototype development and testing are the next planned steps.

EARLY CONCEPT
BOPC Concept Board
BOPC is the proposed onboard controller for AOEN. It is designed to use receiver feedback to guide beam pointing and regulate power delivery.
COMPANY MILESTONE
BhinderX Website Launch
In November 2026, BhinderX launched its website, bringing our research, early technology concepts and development plans together in one public place.
Future Development

CONCEPT RENDERING
Optical Link Test Bench
The proposed test bench would measure how optical alignment affects power transfer between a transmitter and receiver. The measurements would help assess the link model and guide prototype development.
CONCEPT RENDERING
AOEN Mission Control
The concept shows how the operations team would monitor orbital links, receiver locations and network health from one control room. The display illustrates a modeled 1,000 km link delivering 23.0 kW of conditioned power to the load.

CONCEPT RENDERING
Ground Receiver Concept
The proposed ground receiver would track an incoming optical beam and convert captured light into usable electrical power. A future field test would measure how pointing accuracy and atmospheric conditions affect power delivered to the load.
